Dental pain and unexpected problems can be worrying.
Whether you’re experiencing toothache, swelling, a broken tooth or another urgent dental concern, our dentist can assess the problem, explain what’s causing it and advise you on the appropriate treatment.
Emergency dental appointments are available at Rinse Dental in Brooklands, Milton Keynes for new and existing patients.
You may need an urgent dental appointment if you’re experiencing:
Persistent or worsening tooth pain, particularly if it is affecting your sleep or everyday activities.
Swelling around a tooth, gum or face may indicate a dental infection that requires assessment.
A tooth that has fractured, chipped or broken unexpectedly.
A filling, crown or other restoration that has become loose, broken or fallen out.
Pain, swelling or inflammation around a wisdom tooth.
A tooth that has been damaged, loosened or knocked following an accident or injury.
The priority of your emergency appointment is to identify the cause of the problem and determine the most appropriate way to manage it.
Your appointment may include:
Where treatment can appropriately be provided during the same visit, we’ll discuss this with you first.
Any treatment required is charged separately from the emergency appointment unless specifically stated otherwise.
The treatment required will depend entirely on the cause of your dental emergency.
Following your assessment, this could include treatment such as:
Sometimes the immediate priority is simply to stabilise the problem before arranging definitive treatment at a later appointment.
We’ll explain your options clearly before any treatment is carried out.
That’s not a problem!
You do not need to be an existing Rinse Dental patient to book an emergency dental appointment.
If further dental care is required following your emergency appointment, we’ll explain the available options and can arrange ongoing treatment with us where appropriate.
This will depend on the problem, the treatment required and what is clinically appropriate.
The first priority is to assess the cause of your symptoms. Where appropriate, treatment may be possible during the same visit. If further treatment is required, we'll explain this and discuss the associated costs before proceeding.
